Dance FAQ
Do I have to enroll for the full series?
Series are progressive, and skills build week by week. Full-session participation supports the group experience.
What if my child or I miss a class?
Please notify the studio as soon as possible. Missed classes are not refunded. Some instructors may offer recap notes or videos when appropriate.
Are recitals required?
Yes—if the session includes a recital. Performances help dancers build confidence and complete the series experience.
How much do costumes cost?
Costume fees vary and will be shared with plenty of notice prior to recital sessions.
Can I switch into a different class mid-session?
Series are closed once they begin. Transfers may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
Are parents allowed to observe class?
To support focus, dance classes are closed to observers unless otherwise noted. Occasional observation days may be scheduled.
What should dancers wear?
In general:
Comfortable dancewear
Long hair secured
Style-specific shoes (tap, ballet, jazz, etc.)
A full dress code will be provided upon registration.
How do I contact the instructor?
