A Quiet Wild Retreat: A Seasonal Retreat for Rest, Movement & Renewal
May 15–18, 2026 | Co-Hosted by Orca Islands Cabins + Seward Yoga
A Seasonal Retreat for Rest, Movement & Renewal
A Quiet Wild invites you to step away from the rush of everyday life and into a slower rhythm deeply rooted in connection and the natural world. Set on the wild shores of Orca Island Cabins, this coastal retreat co-hosted with Seward Yoga weaves intentional movement, restorative practices, and space for self-paced adventure and connection, nestled within Alaska’s remote fjords.
Imagine beginning each day with meditation and the natural sounds of the shoreline, moving through a mindful morning practice, gathering for group dinners under the evening sky, and closing the day with restorative practice and sound.
This retreat is not about hustle or performance — it’s about spaciousness, choice, and arriving fully in your body and presence. Days begin in noble silence with meditation, then transition into awakening movement designed to orient the body for the day ahead. From there, time unfolds organically — inviting open island time, hiking forested trails, exploring tidepools, sea kayaking or SUP as conditions allow, or choosing rest and personal time.
Mobility, myofascial practices, and bodywork are thoughtfully integrated to support movement, release, and recovery throughout your days.
If you’re ready to slow your pace, shake off the noise, and let nature set the tone, A Quiet Wild offers a meaningful pause that feels like coming home to yourself.

❋ Meals + Seasonal Rhythm
This retreat takes place during the seasonal transition from spring into early summer — a time associated with outward movement and gentle expansion. Practices and meals draw from Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, supporting digestion, mobility, and nervous system balance. Meals are simple, warming, nourishing, and locally sourced when possible.

This retreat is best suited for guests who are comfortable with self-directed time, adults-only off-grid accommodations in a stunning natural landscape, and letting nature set the pace.
❋ Connection & Atmosphere
This retreat honors both connection and solitude. Each guest is invited to look inward and make the time what they need. Shared meals and optional group practices allow space for organic interaction, while solitude and self-directed time are equally respected.
This experience honors:
• Attunement to the nervous system
• The body’s natural pace
• The surrounding environment
• The subtle shifts that happen when daily roles fall away
Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
